Branch Teachers
Under the guidance and instruction of our Resident Teacher Gen Dorje, a number of our senior students also teach meditation and Buddhism at Vajrayana Kadampa Buddhist Center and throughout Chicago. By incorporating Kadampa Buddhism into their lives, each is able to present Buddha's teachings in ways that are clear and relevant to modern day life.

Glynis Kinnan
Glynis has been a key part of the Vajrayana Center community since its early days in Chicago. She is lively and compassionate, and her style of teaching is clear, incisive, and practical. She leads the Tuesday "Just Breathe" meditations, and occasionally teaches Prayers for World Peace and Thursday evening classes in Oak Park.

Chris Link
A kind and considerate Buddhist practitioner, Chris is an excellent example of how Buddha's teachings can help make our busy lives happy and meaningful. His humor and practicality make Buddhism relevant for today's busy world. He currently teaches the branch class in Hyde Park.

Rafael Valadez
Rafael is a long-time resident of Oak Park. He has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism for many years. With unwavering faith and dedication, Rafael currently serves as VKBC's Administrative Director, and can often be found teaching Saturday workshops in his warm, sincere style.
