Hands On: Torma Making

During World Peace Cafe hours on July 12, please join us and lend a hand as we create Vajrayogini tormas, which will then be placed on our Vajrayogini shrine. Tormas are made out of marzipan, an almond paste that's also used to make sweets. By making offerings to the Buddhas we draw closer to them, and by taking the time to make tormas we delight them. We make tormas as a sign of respect and to ask for help and protection.
