“Only by creating peace within our own mind and helping others to do the same can we hope to achieve peace in this world.”
– Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche

Dear Friends of Kadampa Meditation Center Chicago,

As we come to the end of 2018, we find our beloved center in the midst of extraordinary development. As a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers, this is made possible only by extraordinary measures of kindness – the immense kindness of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, but equally important, the enduring kindness of you, our Chicago community of spiritual friends. Because of you, each day we move closer and closer to Geshe-la’s wish and vision of a thriving Kadampa Center here in Chicago.

Imagine a center where every class is attended by 50 people, 100 people, 200 people. Imagine a city where the word Kadampa is known throughout as a place of refuge. Imagine a Chicago that becomes a kinder, more peaceful place, one mind at a time. How will this vision of the future come to fruition? Only through the efforts we engage in today.

If you feel that Kadampa Meditation Center Chicago has benefited your life, and believe it can do the same for others, please consider making a special year-end gift to the Center. Whether it’s $25, $500, $1000 or more, there is no amount too big or too small. Remember that any contribution is also tax-deductible.

To make your donation, simply click the button below.

If you prefer, you may send a check payable to KMC Chicago to 13 Harrison St, Oak Park, IL 60304. Or you can always make donations at our Centers via credit card, check, or cash.

Any time you give to the Center – whether financially, through your time and effort, or just with your prayers – you become a friend of the world, and you touch the life of every person who will ever step foot in KMC Chicago. I thank you from the depths of my heart for your generosity. May you have a blessed holiday season.

With warm regards,
Steve Florian, Administrative Director
