ourself and others and lead to lasting peace and happiness.
Oct. 6 - Oct. 27:   Basic Buddhism and Meditation
Based on the book, “Introduction to Buddhism” by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
2,500 years after the passing of Buddha, his message continues to resonate. Classes will help you to
discover, Who was Buddha? past and future lives, What is karma?, Why and how to meditate, and the path to enlightenment.
About the classes These introductory classes are an excellent introduction to the practical applications of Buddhism and meditation. They offer very simple meditations that you can use to gain more peace and balance in life, as well as a clear introduction to the Buddhist way of life. The classes combine guided meditation with practical spiritual advice that you can immediately put into practice as a method for eliminating daily stress and other problems you may be experiencing. The classes are open to those who are able to attend only occasionally, as well as to those who want to follow a systematic series of classes. There is no need to pre-register. Everyone is welcome. $12 per class, or $60 per month for a Members Card.
