Series 3 – March 24 – April 21:   Karma: There’s always a reason why.

<Based on the book, “Introduction to Buddhism” by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

Why do some people enjoy good health while others are constantly ill? Why are some people fortunate while others encounter problem after problem? Why are some people winners and others always lose? Is there a reason why we have to face so many difficulties? Buddha’s teachings on karma provide answers to these questions and empower us to finally take control of our own life and our future.

About the classes

These introductory classes are an excellent introduction to the practical applications of Buddhism and meditation. They offer very simple meditations that you can use to gain more peace and balance in life, as well as a clear introduction to the Buddhist way of life. The classes combine guided meditation with practical spiritual advice that you can immediately put into practice as a method for eliminating daily stress and other problems you may be experiencing.

The classes are open to those who are able to attend only occasionally, as well as to those who want to follow a systematic series of classes. There is no need to pre-register. Everyone is welcome. $12 per class, or $60 per month for a Members Card.
