Fall 2013 International Festival with Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

At this auspicious event, beginning on Je Tsongkhapa Day 2013, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Founder of NKT-IKBU, will give an oral explanation and transmission of his latest bookThe New Heart of Wisdom, which reveals Buddha’s heart teaching on the perfection of wisdom (prajnaparamita), and grant the Tantric empowerment of Buddha Prajnaparamita. The event will also celebrate the opening of the new Kadampa Temple in Portugal.
Buddha delivered the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra on Massed Vultures Mountain in India over 2,500 years ago. In October 2013 these words will be heard again in the breathtaking hills of Sintra with an explanation of how to use this teaching to solve the problems of daily life and accomplish deep inner peace.
