Resident Teacher
Our Resident Teacher is Kelsang Lektso, an American Buddhist nun and close disciple of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, who has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism under Geshe Kelsang's guidance for many years. 
Kelsang Lektso presents Buddha's teachings in a clear, heartfelt, and practical way. Through her activities of caring for others with kindness and offering good advice, Kelsang Lektso shows us how to practically help people overcome their problems, using wisdom and compassion.
Kelsang Lektso teaches introductory classes at Vajrayana Center on Sunday mornings at 10am and Monday evenings at 7pm. She also teaches the Foundation Program and Teacher Training Program in Oak Park, the Lakeview branch location, and frequent Special Events throughout the Chicagoland area.
