Refuge and Protection: Following in the Footsteps of Buddha, Nov 17, 2018This in-depth course explores the practice of Buddhist refuge: how by relying sincerely upon Buddha (the founder of Buddhism), Dharma (the practices of wisdom and compassion taught by Buddha), and the Sangha (pure spiritual practitioners) we can swiftly and easily build the basic foundation of pure mental peace and happiness within our mind. Gradually our practice of refuge will lead us to the supreme happiness of liberation and enlightenment.

This course includes inspiring, practical teachings, guided meditations, and time for discussion.

Following the course will be an optional Refuge Vow Ceremony for those wishing to take Refuge Vows formally for the first time and adopt the Buddhist way of life, and for those wishing to renew Refuge Vows previously taken. Please note: Day course attendance is essential for new students attending the Vow Ceremony for the first time.
