• Medicine Buddha Retreat: Healing through Wisdom

Based upon the teachings and meditations from the NKT Fall Festival on the profound healing practice of Medicine Buddha, this full-day guided retreat will emphasize the practice of Tantric self-generation practice of Medicine Buddha, the embodiment of the healing energy of all Buddhas. 

Although this event is open to everyone, this in-depth retreat is most suitable for those who already have some previous experience with Buddha's Sutra teachings, and especially for those who attended the Fall Festival and wish to take the teachings deeper into their heart. Each session will include a brief teaching, preparatory prayers, and extensive meditation.

SCHEDULE

Live Online:

  10am - 11:30am: Guided retreat session 1

  2:30pm - 4pm: Guided retreat session 2 

  4:30pm - 6pm: Guided retreat session 3

And also available for 72 hours afterward

TEACHER

Gen Kelsang Zamling is a modern Buddhist monk and the Resident Teacher for KMC Chicago. Having studied, practiced, and taught Buddhist meditation for many years, he is adept at guiding both new and experienced meditators with warmth and humor.
