Details
Meditation and mindfulness are tools that can empower you to be the person and the parent you want to be. As meditation teachers and the parents of three children, Paula and Joe will share their own experience and Buddha’s time-tested teachings to address practically the challenges of parents with kids of all ages. Each session will include practical instruction, guided meditation and time for questions.
You're welcome to bring your children (ages 4 & up) to participate in a separate meditation workshop for kids. Dory and David will guide kids through an engaging exploration of the practice of patience - how to wait, take turns, listen, and happily accept not getting what you want. Games and stories will reinforce the practical benefit of patience: it diminishes our frustration and anger, helps us get along with others, and makes us very happy!
No previous experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome!
