This in-depth workshop is intended to focus and inspire experienced students, however anyone with a sincere interest is welcome to attend. In the morning, we will answer the common question: "Now that I've been practicing Kadampa Buddhism for a while, what should be my main daily meditation practice at home so that I can make authentic progress along the path to Enlightenment?" In the afternoon, we will discuss how through our spiritual practice we can truly help others through practical service in our Dharma community to benefit our society at large.

12pm - 1:30pm: Session 2: How to Live a Life of Meaning and Service to Others

TEACHER

Gen Kelsang Zamling is a modern Buddhist monk and the Resident Teacher for KMC Chicago. Having studied, practiced, and taught Buddhist meditation for many years, he is adept at guiding both new and experienced meditators with warmth and clarity.
