Time & Location

Mar 10, 2023, 7:00 PM

Wicker Park, 2010 W Pierce Ave, Chicago, IL 60622, USA

Rather than being "blind," dogmatic, or unexamined, Buddhist faith is developed scientifically through direct observation, logical reasoning, and open-minded scrutiny. For example, through the inner science of meditation, Buddha discovered that the actual causes of happiness are inside the mind, which can be verified directly in our own experience.

Join us for a fascinating look into the scientific method of meditation and Buddhist practice. This evening will include a special talk, guided meditation, and time for questions.  Absolutely everyone is welcome!

Following the talk, everyone is invited to a social dinner at a local restaurant in Wicker Park (details announced at the event).
