Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang ZamlingAll three public talks will be taught by Gen Kelsang Zamling, the main teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Chicago and a modern Buddhist monk. Gen Zamling has been studying, practicing, and teaching Buddhism and meditation for over 20 years in the United States and the United Kingdom.

He is well-loved by his students, and sets an immaculate example of someone who has taken Buddha's teachings to heart. Gen Zamling is known for his practical approach, warmth, and clarity.

 


Kadampa Meditation Center Chicago is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to sharing the practical wisdom of Buddha’s teachings with everyone who wishes to improve their life through meditation and mindfulness practices. We are part of the New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU), a worldwide network of approximately 1,300 independent, non-profit centers and branches in over 40 countries, all devoted to sharing Kadampa Buddhism throughout the world.
