Thursday Evening Drop-In Class
Liberate Your Mind with Meditation
In October, the Thursday evening class explores the topic, "Liberate Your Mind with Meditation."
Kadampa Buddhist meditation provides a systematic inner path to develop real renunciation and authentic liberation -- the experience of permanent inner peace, free from all pain and problems. This brief series explores three meditations that naturally liberate our mind and infuse our daily life with profound purpose and joy.
Each week we focus on a different meditation theme, and the class itself includes a practical teaching and guided meditation. No previous experience is necessary; absolutely everyone is welcome. Drop in at any time.

Coming in October:
In November, the Thursday evening class will explore the topic, "Developing a Pure Heart."
Meditations on loving-kindness, compassion, and wisdom are the very heart of Mahayana Buddhism. With practice, these meditations naturally open your heart, change your attitude toward others, and help you become a source of peace and inspiration for others.
Each class includes practical instruction, guided meditation, and time for questions. No previous experience is necessary, and absolutely everyone is welcome; feel free to drop in at any time.
This month's classes will refer to the following book(s). It's not necessary to have your own copy, but some people like follow along or read more after the class.
