Join us at The Coffeehouse in Uptown Normal for an inspiring and insightful evening talk and guided meditation with Buddhist monk and meditation teacher Gen Kelsang Zamling. We'll explore:

• What is the true cause of overthinking, like worry, distraction, and anxiety?

• How can I use meditation practically, to reduce and eventually eliminate overthinking?

• What strategies can I use in daily life to keep my mind calm and balanced?

This special evening is open to everyone and is ideal for both newcomers to meditation and those with considerable experience. Absolutely everyone is welcome, regardless of background or belief. We look forward to meeting you!

TEACHER

Gen Kelsang Zamling is an ordained Buddhist monk and the principal meditation teacher of KMC Chicago. A student of Kadampa Buddhism since 1998, he has engaged in ongoing teacher training and many short and longer personal meditation retreats. He has taught meditation classes throughout the United Kingdom and the United States, and has led many short and longer group retreats. Gen Zamling's classes are well-loved, and his guidance is always very clear, supportive, and practical.
