Impermanence: The Power of Now - Silent Retreat

Buddha’s profound teachings on impermanence explain that everything is in a constant state of change, never remaining even for an instant--in truth, never really truly there at all. By gaining genuine experience of this simple yet profound truth, we can more easily let go of the past, stop projecting about the future, and genuinely make the most of the present.

This afternoon retreat will include three brief sessions of practical instruction and guided meditations suitable for all levels of experience; no previous experience is necessary, and absolutely everyone is welcome!

SCHEDULE

2:00 - 3:00pm: Teaching and Meditation Session 1

3:20 - 4:00pm: Teaching and Meditation Session 2

4:20 - 5:00pm: Teaching and Meditation Session 3

5:00pm: informal Q&A with light refreshments (optional)
