SCHEDULE

You are invited to attend two free introductory sessions of Foundation Program on Sunday, August 30 and/or September 13, 12:30 - 2:30 pm.  You are welcome to attend one or both sessions!

The class meets weekly on Sunday afternoons, 12:30-2:30 pm (with breaks throughout the year); each Sunday session includes guided meditation, brief traditional prayers, inspiring teachings, and enriching discussion.

No previous experience is needed. Although attendance to these intro sessions is free, we ask you to RSVP below. We welcome you to meet our wonderful FP student community!

TOPIC / BOOK

We are currently studying the book The New Eight Steps to Happiness: The Buddhist Way of Loving Kindness, based upon one of Buddhism's best-loved teachings, Eight Verses of Training the Mind, a short poem that reveals how to improve our love and compassion, and transform all life's difficulties into valuable spiritual insights. These teachings are especially relevant and practical for our uncertain and challenging times!
