Introduction to Foundation Program (Wicker Park)

You are invited to attend this free introduction to Foundation Program on Tuesday, February 10, 7 - 9 pm.

Foundation Program (FP) is an enrollment-based class that emphasizes gaining a deeper understanding and experience of Buddhism through systematic and guided study, meditation, and discussion. We meet weekly on Tuesday evenings, 7-9 pm (with breaks throughout the year); each Tuesday session includes guided meditation, chanted prayers, teachings, and discussion. We are currently studying the book The New Heart of Wisdom: Profound Teachings from Buddha's Heart, and exploring the profound view of reality that helps solve our daily problems of anxiety, frustration and confusion, and awaken our wisdom, love and compassion.

No previous experience is necessary. Although attendance to this sample class is free, we ask you to RSVP below. We welcome you to meet our wonderful FP student community!
