Letting Go of Perfect

Through wisdom and meditation, learn how to be truly happy and content all the time, in particular when things don’t go as expected or when they aren’t perfect. Learn how to recognize your potential for inner development and growth, and to build a life of deep inner peace, joy, and fulfillment.

Time & Location

Apr 18, 2026, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM

KMCC - Wicker Park, 2010 W Pierce Ave, Chicago, IL 60622, USA

Details

We may feel we’ll be truly happy and content once we finally get things just right in our lives. When we find the perfect partner, the perfect job, or the perfect home, or we achieve the perfect level of health, wealth, and so on.

Yet in truth, it’s possible to be truly at peace and happy right here and now. In particular, when we let go of the idea that we need everything to be perfect in our lives, we discover a deeper peace and happiness in our day-to-day lives.

Through talks and guided meditations, which are suitable for everyone, we will explore:

  • Where our need for perfection comes from, how it limits our sense of freedom and joy in life, and how to let it go.

  • How true peace and happiness starts with learning how to be at peace with the imperfect nature of ourselves, others, and life today, combined with the recognition of our potential for inner development and growth.

  • How from this place we can all build a life of deep inner peace, joy, and fulfillment, even when things don’t go perfectly day-to-day.

No previous experience is necessary, and absolutely everyone is welcome!
