Immerse yourself in a day of quiet contemplation, prayer, and meditation on the beautiful and ancient Buddhist practice, Liberation from Sorrow: Praises and Requests to the Twenty-one Taras.
Tara is a female Buddha, a manifestation of enlightened ultimate wisdom, and her name means "Rescuer," because she protects and liberates us from outer dangers and inner fears throughout our life. Ultimately, by relying sincerely upon our Holy Mother Tara, she will liberate us permanently from all suffering, sorrow, and fear.
This retreat will begin with a teaching explaining the deeper meaning of the practice, and the retreat sessions will include beautiful Buddhist prayers and guided meditations led by Gen Zamling.
No previous experience is necessary, and absolutely everyone is welcome.
