• Malas & Mantras: A Practical Workshop

Mantra means "mind protection." It is a powerful method to enhance the qualities of our body and mind. Reciting mantras helps calm our mind, let go of negative thoughts, and connect with enlightened inspiration and power.

We will begin the workshop by learning what mantra is, and we will practice a powerful mantra meditation that anyone can do to help develop a calm, balanced, and inspired mind. Then we will learn how to make our own mala, or Buddhist rosary, which we can use while reciting mantras.
