Medicine Buddha Blessing Empowerment - The Healing Power of Prayer

According to Buddha, the underlying cause of all mental and physical diseases and suffering is negative states of mind (ie, delusions), such as anger, desirous attachment and confusion. By connecting to Medicine Buddha's powerful transformative blessings and by practicing traditional, powerful meditations, we can gradually heal ourself of delusions and sickness, and profoundly benefit others. Everyone is welcome.

What to expect on Saturday

10:00am: Saturday begins with the blessing empowerment, which is a teaching and beautiful guided meditation, during which we will receive the blessings of Medicine Buddha, the embodiment of all enlightened healing energy. 

1:30pm: During the afternoon teaching, Gen Zamling will explain the profound Tantric practice of self-generation through which we awaken our own potential to become an enlightened healing Buddha.

3:30pm: The day concludes with a guided meditation using the traditional meditations, prayers, and mantra of Medicine Buddha.

Sunday's schedule

10am: Sunday begins with a special teaching "The Healing Power of Prayer" with Gen Zamling, which will explain the special benefits of Buddhist prayer so that we can engage with clarity and confidence. In particular, he will explain the special practice "Medicine Buddha Prayer" which is a traditional and powerful spiritual method to benefit and heal others.

11:45am: Join us for beautiful chanted "Medicine Buddha Prayer" and guided meditation with Gen Zamling.
