Overcoming Frustration & Anger (Oak Park)
Learn practical methods and meditations to remain balanced, flexible, and peaceful -- even when things go wrong. Led by Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Zamling.
Time & Location
Sep 13, 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Oak Park, 13 Harrison St, Oak Park, IL 60304, USA
Although frustration and anger feel perfectly natural, they steal away our peace of mind and common sense, and force us to say and do things we often regret. Take control over your mind and learn about the cool, spacious mind of patience. With patience we can remain balanced, flexible and peaceful when things go wrong!
During this special evening talk and guided meditation, Gen Zamling will share some special, practical methods for overcoming our frustration, anger, and upset feelings. Enjoy this talk on its own, or as an introduction to an 8-week series of classes called "Freedom from Frustration & Anger."
No previous experience is needed, and absolutely everyone is welcome!
The Resident Teacher (principal teacher) at KMC Chicago is modern Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Zamling.
