Details

Join us for a relaxed, informal hands-on workshop on the traditional Buddhist art of torma making. Tormas are traditional handmade food offerings, usually made of marzipan, that symbolize an offering of great bliss used during traditional ritual practices and prayers, such as empowerments, retreats, and chanted prayers.

Alba and Rodrigo will demonstrate and guide students to make tsog offering tormas for the Center. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn how to make tormas for personal shrines too, which requires no previous experience or artistic ability. All materials and tools are included in the registration. If you wish to take your torma home, please ask for the list of materials. Absolutely everyone is welcome!
