Ocean of Peace Meditation Retreat: The Four Seals

The Four Seals are four meditative insights into reality that enable us to experience the liberating wisdom of Mahamudra, the true nature of things.

During this retreat, Gen Demo will explain and guide meditations on each of these four insights: profound topics such as impermanence, the nature of the mind, the origin of our suffering and problems, and how to free our mind with ultimate truth, emptiness. By learning these meditations and applying them to your daily life, you will naturally experience greater balance, confidence, strength and inspiration. 

No previous experience is necessary, and absolutely everyone is welcome to attend.

11:45 - 1:00: Teaching & Guided Meditation 2

1:00 - 2:30pm: catered lunch (included)

2:30 - 4:00: Teaching & Guided Meditation 3

4:00 - 4:30pm: Light refreshments & social time (optional)

TEACHER

Gen Kelsang Demo is the Midwestern US National Spiritual Director and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Washington DC. She has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for decades and has been teaching Kadampa Buddhism since 1998. Gen Demo is deeply respected as a teacher and practitioner. She demonstrates a wealth of practical knowledge and provides clear and inspiring teachings for people of all levels of interest.
