Meditation is a powerful, scientific method to dissolve away anxiety and stress, and create an experience of mental peace, strength, and freedom. This retreat will highlight practical meditation techniques and positive ways of thinking you can use to control your mind, rather than being overwhelmed and controlled by the experience of anxiety. During each session, Buddhist monk Gen Zamling will provide practical instruction and guide meditations you can practice anytime. You are welcome to ask any questions during the sessions. We will encourage silence during the two brief breaks to promote greater mental peace and introspection. After the retreat we will offer light refreshments, and you are invited to stay to socialize and relax if you wish. Perfect for both beginners and seasoned meditators; absolutely everyone is welcome to attend.
